Apart from being a holiday resort, Eden Roc Hotel also hosts Conference, Retreats, Seminars and Workshops of any kind and as per your specifications. We have special negotiable rates to suit your budget and every request is tailored to your satisfaction.

In keeping abreast of dynamic conferencing technology, we have invested heavily in audio visual technology.  In addition, we have freshly refurbished our Conference Halls in order to upgrade them into a state-of-the-art conferencing facilities. These facilities are fully equipped and has modern comfortable seats, wall & split air conditioners for the perfect cooling, a special 6-piece Conference Speaker System (Surround Sound) complete with a professional Audio Mixer with a capacity of up to 4 microphones (cable or wireless), sound effects, etc. We have also installed an LCD beamer/projector with a giant screen for PowerPoint Presentations, big-screen video projection, etc.  Other facilities available include a TV, Video player, DVD player, flipchart boards, felt pens and a presentation podium.

NB: The audio visual equipment mentioned above is available at no extra cost.

The Conference Facilities

Conference Hall 1 (refurbished):

Capacity: Takes up to 150pax in classroom style and 80pax in U-shape.

Conference Hall  2 (newly renovated)

Capacity: Accommodates up to 50pax in classroom style and 35-40pax U-shape.

Boardroom:

Capacity: Has a capacity of 15pax U-shape, the room is ensuite with a secretariat, own toilet, 1 extra room and a balcony with a great view of the Indian Ocean and our beautiful tropical lush gardens.

Additional Services

Business Centre
At an affordable cost, one can take advantage of our business centre and its services i.e. High speed Internet (broadband), email, fax, photocopy, scanning, laminating and secretarial services.

Accommodation

Participants are accommodated in our superior rooms which are fully air conditioned. We also have tastefully furnished suites complete with satelite TV.

Food & Beverages

Meals for the meeting participants - breakfast, lunch and dinner - is served in buffet style which is based on  alternating local and international menus and cuisines. Vegetarian meals or special group meals can be prepared on request. On Saturdays, we host a bar-be-que night with lots of nyama choma and kuku choma! The 10 and 4 o’clock tea are served at our Safari Bar Terrace.

Other Activities

In-house team building activities can be organized by our animation team.  In addition, we organise excursions in and around Malindi area. During the evenings, we have a variety of entertainment options including traditional dancers, bands, acrobatic shows and disco. We also offer free entry tickets to Stardust Discotheque (Malindi’s hottest disco!). The free tickets to Stardust Disco are available from the cashier before 9pm daily.

Payment

The rates are negotiable to suit your budget. However, our policy is 50% down payment and the balance to be paid on either the arrival or departure day.
